The flavors of Spain come alive every night at the iconic Tapas y Tintos Restaurant.
For over 30 years, this authentic Spanish restaurant has made us feel as though a little piece of Spain was right in our back yard. Over the decades there have been many owners and the restaurant it self has had several different looks. Recently, the emerging Vida y Estilo Restaurant Group, who also owns several other iconic restaurants on Española Way, acquired the restaurant and they have “taken the bull by the horns.”
Tapas y Tintos has stayed true to its authentic roots but the look and feel of the place has had a major upgrade, even the bull got a facelift. The dim-lit vibe and vintage furniture gives the restaurant an ambiance of a Spanish eatery and the authentic photographs and Spanish novelties place you in a tapas bar from the various regions of Spain. The restaurant’s indoor wine market boasts various types of Spanish wines and the staff is very knowledgeable on the various types of wine and how they may pair with your meal.
The menu reads like an authentic Spanish tapas bar with tapas frías y calientes or small plates such as Garbanzos Fritos, Patatas Bravas, and Huevos Rotos to delicious platos fuertes or entrées like Seafood Paella or Culetón a la Parilla. The authenticity of Tapas y Tintos far exceeds the distinctive food or exquisite wine. The restaurant fully immerses you in the feel of Spain by offering its patrons a LIVE flamenco show with their meal every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 9pm in El Rincon del Flamenco. Tapas y Tintos also invites soccer fans to enjoy games from various leagues on their larger projection screen in La Esquina del Futbol.
Take the time to visit Spain with out leaving Miami, Tapas y Tintos will transport you there.
